The results of the Commodore’s Trophy are in:

  1. Noah and Sean
  2. Mike and Angela
  3. Pete and Phil
  4. Taz and Vlad

All were sailing GP14’s and we ran the event as a personal handicap pursuit race, based on the results of two practice races.

The winds as ever were light and fluky and played no small part in determining the result. Nevertheless, the racing was VERY competitive and I thought we were on for a photo finish with 7 minutes of the allotted 45 still to go, but Mike/Angela and Pete/Phil both found them selves in a wind-free patch at this crucial moment, leaving Noah clear ahead and rounding the leeward mark when the ‘time up’ hooter sounded!

Much fun was had by all.
